Wood Burning Insert Newbie Safety Advice, Help, & Discussion

After extensive digging, it appears I may have a "Majestic Thulman L-36A" fireplace. Several other posts on here cover the model with some very similar (although not identical) pictures. Unfortunately, the manual I found is 8 pages and is pretty darn old, but the pictures seem to line up to what I have. The manual itself mentions NFPA 211 and a UL label, but something tells me the general consensus wont change. Just wanted to throw it out there.
 
Did you locate the manual online? If so, is there a link?
 
I'm not seeing any language in there prohibiting an insert. bholler do you?
 
I do not see anything either. But I personally would never trust it.
