I needed to use the old Stihl 362 today for the first time in about five months. I put in a tank of gas mix and one of bar oil, set the choke and pulled the cord until it "popped". A few more pulls and the saw fired up, ran smoothly, and even idled. The chain was sharp, cut well while throwing out large chips. After cutting up a score or so of logs I shut it down and when I pulled the starter cord a few minutes later it fired right up and idled once again.

Frankly, this is the first time this sort of thing has happened to me. I am wondering if I should get out the little screwdriver and fiddle with the adjustment screws. Any ideas or suggestions?

Sounds like a guy I worked with. We develop something that works. Run with it? No way. Let’s try every other off the wall idea to make sure it doesn’t work first.

My philosophy. If it works don't screw with it.

Isn't there a Marx Brothers scene where Chico is a barber trimming a guy's mustache? He's trying to make it even and keeps having to take a little more off the other side until he removes the mustache.

"Justa one-a more snoop!" :)
