The blower in my Heatilator GNBC36 gas fireplace (installed around 2000) has become noisy and I want to do some maintenance. I tried to pull it away from the back wall of the lower area of the insert, but it's stuck tight. It seems like it's fastened in place, but I can't see any bolt, latch, or other type of connection. The blower is labeled EM3030LH-85. I can't find a manual or assistance after googling this info. Any ideas?

The blower should be held in place with a velcro strip.
If it hasn't been removed for over 20 years, you're probably
just gonna hafta pull harder on it. I'd advise you to wear some small work gloves,
because when it let's go, there's a chance you will draw blood.
Don't ask me how I know that...
Here are the install instructions...

Success! It was just a strong Velcro connection. The new installation went smoothly and my son and I got to play with the old motor. Win-win. Thanks for your help!
