Just purchased 3 tons of pellets at Menards in Ft Wayne. They come to $4.44 a 40lb bag ($222 a ton) after their 11% rebate.

The current brand they carry is Magic Spark wood pellets, but this can vary location by location and throughout the winter.

Our local Menards have Cheat River hardwood Pellets at $4.44 a bag after rebate. We test fired the stove ( Harman Accntra) yesterday and they light easily and burn nice.

Massillon Ohio Menards had Somersets last week. See on their app they got more deliveries, showing 79 ton in stock.

Oh chit sorry, really old thread
No, it's timely.
You Ohians and Indianans are getting the deals at Menards. Up here in Wis. they're selling Marth for $5.33 a bag, after rebate. I did get in on some Indecks there for the same price. Indecks are head and shoulders better than Marth this year, which has a lot of fines and dust. It used to be decent, but I'd rate them fair/poor this year.

I scored a ton of Marth pellets a few years ago @ Menards. Yuk! Like you said. Lots of fines and dust, and not a lot of heat. A shoulder season pellet at best, at least for me.

What's up somerset pellets! Best pellet period!
I'll always burn 'Sets when available. A very consistent, hot burning hardwood pellet. Some years a little more ash than others, but always good heat!

Im going to see if I still have the receipt. I picked up a pallet of pellets (menards east) for my MIL and was thinking it was more than that.

$5.99 here in the Badger State, and the last time I looked they were stocking Marth, which are trash this year. They occasionally get better brands; Indeck is a step up, Magic Spark/Pro Pellets two steps. Once in a blue moon we see Somersets.

Massillon Ohio Menards is$4.99 bag/$249.50 ton here. Early fall they had PurHeat, which turned out to be okay. Little dusty with some fines, but good heat. Since then it's been all Somersets, which are burning real nice this year!

Have you ever had a problem with klinkers with somerset? Only second year with stove. First year was in basement, evacuated into existing chimney...I know., bad. But use green Supreme first year, and this year somerset. And I brought my stove upstairs and evacuated properly with 3ft vertical outside, 90 and cap. When it hit frigid Temps this Christmas, didn't have a problem to it got a little more "normal" Temps. Klinks galore. It's almost as tho they burn so good and slow, that they piled up before they all got burnt. Turned my feed back down, and it has gotten alittle better. But still some klinkers. Ussc, king 5202m. Any thoughts?
