Hi, can anyone tell me how to go about removing the main control board in an older Quadrafire Mt. Vernon pellet stove fireplace insert? The board incurred some heat damage at the ignitor connector and I want to repair it. I'm wondering if it's going to be necessary to pull the entire unit out of my fireplace to accomplish getting that board out or not. Thanks for any help.

UPDATE: I did find a video on YT showing how that board is mounted. Looks like I will in fact need to pull the insert out of the fireplace a bit.

Hey KipL! As a novice I’ve found that Earth Sense Energy at pellethead.com is a great resource for videos, repair and parts. Good luck!
