I need a new pilot ignition system but the manufacturer and all the dealers I've contacted in BC Canada say these parts are no longer available. Does anyone know where I could get them or what alternatives would work? The pilot light itself works but can only be lit by open flame BBQ lighter.

Can you post a pic of the pilot assembly, please? A pic of the stove does us no good. We need to see what you have in there in order to help you find what you need.

Thanks for reply . Please see photos attached.
I included photo #1779 for completness only, that part works OK except cable connection from the blacknob to the pilot ignition (shown in other photos) has been snipped to facilitate repair.

If all you are looking for is the electrode, you can probably find one here:https://www.google.com/search?q=pie...xOJgBAKABAcgBCMABAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp#ip=1

It looks like the metal that the ignitor sits in has broken off. Figure out a way to mount that electrode back close and it should work. I know of a pilot assembly close to that but it is a two way hood and the second way would be opposite of your burner so I wouldn't use it.
