wow, I can't believe he is actually willing to deliver for that low low price, too...oh, wait, that's an additional fee.

That's about the going rate around here except "seasoned" just means it sat in a heap for a few months.

we have dead ash up to our ears around here.......maybe I should get off my ash and sell some of my ash up yer way.....lol.....I cut my own wood, but my buddy sells it all year long for around 120.00/cord for mixed hardwoods.......

$120 cut, split and delivered?

It's around $200-250 here for a cord delivered.

If the Ass Bore comes here I'll be a millionaire!

Whoa!! And I thought $200 was bad. Let us know if he gets any takers.

I have seen cords offered from $150-$350 in my area.

Yea here to. It just depends on how much of the cord you really want! ;-)

same here...

I dont know if I could spend that much( I'm cheap)

Hope you all aren't moving that Ash wood out of your county. Moving firewood is the biggest cause of the Ash Bore spreading.
Before long there will be no more Ash trees. Keep it local.

Same here AND cord = whatever I could fit heaped in a one ton pickup. aka a half cord.

That'd be about the going rate around here. Oak is often $50-75 more & nearly green.
Chances he has an actual full cord? Slim

I pay $185.00 c/s/d and it's worth it! Only $555.00 to heat my home to 75 degrees for a year is much cheaper than oil and saves me lots of work too..

wood goes for around 200 here, split & delivered. BUT came across this today on C/L and had a chuckle..

thats what wood goes for in the cities. people dont realize that natural gas wood probably be cheaper or break even and theres no mess or work. they usually have little or no access to trees so the price goes wayyyyy up. same thing here in vt a cord of hardwood in burlinngton will go anywere from 250-300. when i lived were we had NG my highest bill was 200$ in january. were we are now i burn more than a cord a month so ng would be right way to go. sometimes i wish i could sell wood around the cities but too far to drive

Here's a good one. Yikes!

By this rate I must have hauled home about $4000 last summer.

In case it gets flagged:

Green, just cut and split.
Pickup load.
