I have been cutting some ash in this nice weather. I'm getting a fairly good stash waiting for the splitter. This will likely sit till the spring. I currently have close to 30 cords split, stacked and covered. IMG_5334.jpgIMG_5335.jpgIMG_5336.jpgIMG_5337.jpg

30 cords of CSS ash. Just awesome
More than 2 wood sheds full :)

Rounds that size will make some perfect splits.
Have fun

Yup, some dry dead stuff on the seat. I seem to always bring back a couple of loads for the stove every time I go out
I do have two sheds full and several long stacks covered with steel.

Glenn, that is super!

Thanks Dennis. Some of those rounds are getting a bit heavy for my tired old back!

Nice. If you don't mind sharing, what town are you near?

Real nice haul, man

I'm just east of Cambridge. We are losing the ash fast here!

Stouffville, here. The EAB hasn't hit here yet, but my saw is ready. It will be an odd mixture of gladness and sadness.

If you ever feel like you have too much ash... I'm sure I could arrange a truck and trailer to drag some up to my place in Sudbury! :D

(Although I know this sweet spot near Bancroft full of Oak and Iron Wood... )

Don't worry. We're done with them so have sent them your way to eat on your trees now.
