Spent about 4 hours on this today. Got all the hickory split. :)
My left arm wants to fall off right about now....but it's a good sore!

On to the oaks!!

You got a really nice wood processing area bacffin! Nice work. Good wood supply there. Since getting my splitter it seems my arm hurts after awhile just using the splitter control lever:D

You got piles of sand in the background?

Great work. It has been fun watching your progress with all those logs. The cold weather inspires wood cutting. My neighbor and I processed a bunch of white oak this weekend.

Great work Bacffin!

Who does your stacking, same guy who does the splitting?
Better get on him a bit, he's falling behind. LOL :)

Nice neat looking set up.
Wood in all directions :)

Nice work Bacffin, are you close to being done?

"....but it's a good sore!" Yeah, we hear that! Nice work and you have a decent woodyard area. Never had the pleasure of using any hickory here yet, but I sure enjoy being downwind of anyplace burning it - good aroma.

Thanks! That sand is from the big blue pool for the kids. You set it up and take it down every ear. You have probably seen them around. Made by Intex.

You mean splitting right! Got 17 more logs to go aout of the 50. All oak now. Still have to stack the piles though.

Thanks! The work area is the "outer yard". I had a logger in to take down all the pine trees (100ft tall) and then pulled the stumps, I was left with the "outer yard". It is my kids go-cart track. Goes all the way around the house. Of course the adults have fun with it too.

Stack that wood like that in the 3rd picture and it will be nice.

I need a good teacher for stacking, and I hear the pro lives in S. Central Alaska ;)
