Maybe you put some winter weight on, happens to me every winter. Not to mention, if you were even slightly dehydrated when you got sized for that ring, that will make a difference. As for my wedding ring (I've been married 16 years now) it don't even come CLOSE to fitting my finger anymore!! Its covered in welding spalds and nicks from my previous welding job and I'm not allowed to wear it at work where I'm at now (electrician), so I don't wear it. And that DOES make the wife a little bit upset!

And to further confuse the issue, I just bought a splitter (my hands were killing me from the shock transferred to them on pieces I could not split by hand. The ax would just bounce off, transferring the shock to my hands instead of through the wood):

So perhaps my hands will shrink down again? (And of course I won't be collecting wood all year round...)

I got the comfort band ring. So far after splitting 4 cords by hand, no problems.
Also, where did you get the 20% off HF coupon to by that splitter.
A HF just opened by me and I was thinking of checking that out.

my wife's grandparents never went a day without their rings since the day they were married. My grandparents never wore their rings, and my father does not either. Her grandmother was a homemaker, her grandfather a postal worker. My grandparents were farmers, yes, grandma too.

I've had several issues getting my hand caught in tight place while working on my cars, it is uncomfortable to wear while I shovel, rake, split, or anything that requires a firm grasp. Gives me a nasty blister where the ring hits the palm if that makes sense.But she doesn't want to hear anything about that. If i don't wear my ring it only means one thing: I am trying to look like a single guy to pick up chicks. Therefore, i have had my ring resized twice (once bigger cause i got fat, once smaller cause I lost that fat).

I wore the ring for a few years after the wedding. Then one day while putting up hay, I jumped down from the haymow. Finger tried to stay up on the ladder rung I was holding on to. Not pretty. No ring on finger since that day. Wife does not mind. She even had to quit wearing her rings because of arthritis and cysts.

Not planning on doing that. Will be married 15yrs this June and she would have to get rid of me...

If you think the ring is getting tight, wait until your married, the ball and chain is going to get even tighter!!
