Hey guys. Got back out for another day of cutting and splitting. Same deal as yesterday cleaning up dead standing red oak I believe anyway.....took 2 truck loads of splits home to my ever growing wood piles....here's a few pics to help describe the day.

So far I have a red oak pile, cherry, maple, white oak and mixed pine, the pine pile is 8/9' tall 20' deep and 10' wide to give an idea of actual size....Anybody have a guess how much wood is there all together?

All of it. Had to say that. But from looking at your piles I would say about 6 cord. Now get er stacked.

A Chit load. I can't tell what I have until it is stacked. I try but my guess is always off.

there's more than 6 cord there....I'd say pushing close to 8 or more......
Looking good, Bones!

Thanks Scotty! I was thinking the same thing about the amount of wood there. I'll know better once the stacking starts. It's hard to get it all in one picture so I'd say I am standing easily 100' back to do so. Either way I'm pumped about how it's coming along.
