What I like most about the forum....

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.

And then there is me...

Are you sure that "serenity" shouldn't be replace by senility ?;lol

Yeah there a a bunch of good folks here.

Rideau, you are right about that. Lots of good folks here, and the occasional 'fistfight' with no bruises (except for the egos, maybe....)
One things for sure. There are a lot of woodburners/pellet folks out there who all have good hearts, good humor, and good advice......
Which makes this a great place! Now if I could just stay the hell out of the ash can......;)

many questions myself and others have asked here I know were answered 1000 times by folks and yet everyone makes others feel like it is the first time or provide the link to a long ago answered question. Everyone here is fantastic, even in the ash can, it makes me feel like the 20 years I spent in the cigar store back home. Lots of help and lots of banter....if you had thin skin, stay out....but when you need help everyone would drop everything for you

. . . is that it is cheaper than calling those 1-900 lines in
order to feel loved and appreciated. Now, if only I could
get more folks to tell me what they're wearing . . . .

Banana hammock and dog collar.....it's casual Wednesday
