My four new saws, all Remington made, two John Deere versions. Mrs. Danno asked why I was in such a good mood this morning and I said that any day you can buy saws or JD paraphanelia is a good day, when you can buy both it's a GREAT day!

And to think I was excited about being home on a Saturday for the first time in three years. You just shot that down.
 
If it makes you feel any better there's a lot of future work in that picture there.
 
Very nice Danno. Looks like Spring 2013 is vintage saw fever around here lately.Nothing wrong with that.

Looks like fun to me. My uncle has a JD labeled saw and brush cutter, both of which are still used.

I am actually thinking about picking up a couple of Homelite XL series saws and building a good one. I know of quite a few old timers in my area that have been running the same saw for the last 30 years. We are on Husky rancher saw #3 in 10 years, and I'm getting tired of it.
 
Those are some sweet old green Remmys Danno! I still have a running SL9.
