where in the world can u find the caps for this can?...found i think one on ebay for 4 bucks..thats all i have found..some of the ones i have bought didnt even come with the bendy tube....i have done the mods on these cans and like them except i dont have caps for them

I have several of these, some with pop-up flexible plastic spouts, some with solid bent plastic spouts that have caps on them, and some new ones like the photo you have here with the lever and flex pipe. I get them at Goodwill for cheap, complete or just the caps. Maybe $2 for the entire 1 or 2 gallon can. I have a series of three 1 gallon, three 2 gallon and two 5 gallon cans. I got them all used and cheap. New I have only seen the complete cans for sale.

You can get them on Ebay, but they are usually more with shipping than a whole new can. One bent spout there is $15???... *cough* Gimme a break. $4 is a good price if you can find them online.

4 bucks...for just the cap...not the whole spout thing...just the black cap thats missing on this can as well...

here is what im looking for..the black cap on the end of the bendy tube.....and could use a few bendy tubes also.....

Never had a cap for that type of spout. I guess it might be a good idea to keep crap out of there. Amazon lists a 2-pack of flex tubes but they are out of stock. I do not think that they come with the caps though.

I just carved a few caps one day out of some wood laying around. Just sticks in the hole like a cork kinda.

Or maybe even a "cork". Good excuse to drink a couple bottles of wine.

Never thought of capping mine. Good idea. Maybe the redneck fix--piece of rag?

HehHeh . . . is that the Redneck thing . . . or a Molotov cocktail? ;)

Bicycle handlebar end plug , or that cork Jag said

They also sell rubber stoppers at my local hardware

The only wine I'll ever put my lips on will be out of a box and it will be straight from that box (no cup). Otherwise please hand in your man card!

Fine, then get a bottle of wild turkey or maker's mark.

You can buy rubber stoppers for dirt cheap from just about anywhere. 4 bones for just the cap is robbery.

lukem i gave up alcohol 6 years ago..but i agree if u drink wine from a glass..man card needs to be revoked..

mr whoopee that exactly what i want them for.....so im not pouring wood chips in my saws

Corks. Dollar store.

so..u all are telling me...just a normal wine bottle cork will work?..

well just tried the wine cork....doesnt work....and if u wittle away at the cork to get it to fit...its pretty flaky and sends cork shavings down into the gas can.....

HDrock thats a nice design but 15.00 with shipping......thats nuts
