Trying to top off stash and buy about 25 bags to add to my 3 ton of blazer. A local dealer just got in spruce Pointe at 5.98 per bag or 299 for one ton, are these a safe bet and is the price right for then in mass.

I have not used them but other posters speak well off that pellet. I believe Wood Pellet Review also has them rated high.

They burned well for me.The only complaint I had with them was they stuck to the walls of the hopper and the stove would go out.The price is comparable to what BT Pellets is charging.

I have burned over 80 tons of them with no issues.

I have burned them the last two winters. Low ash, decent heat output. I just had six tons delivered @ $300 per ton from Attleboro Rehoboth Buliding Supply. No delivery charge for my town if you buy 2 or more tons.

Spruce Pointe were our favorite pellet last year...our first burning pellets, and we tried five brands that are considered at least pretty good by at least some folks on this forum. [Lacrete, Spruce Pointe, N. Idaho, Turman, LG Granules]
N. Idaho Energy logs, a fir pellet, left less ash and clinkers, as you'd expect from a $359/ton pellet, but I found Spruce Pointe the best blend of performance and price……not that much scraping required, amount of ash about right for its price, and good heat.

I gather that things can vary from year to year for some brands...good luck whatever you decide--

You won't get kicked out of the house with that brand.
