I have a Engander Pellet stove. I can get it to light and when the blower starts running it goes into error and shuts down.

Might not be sensing heat/fire. Have you given it and your piping a good cleaning?

Yes, I cleaned it this weekend. It is making a ticking noise that I had never noticed in the past.
I just tried to resart it, it goes through the start up procedure, once the room blower kicks on, the unit goes back to start up (S U) on the controller. Unfortunately, the bottom auger quits feeding, then the board reads E 2.
I believe from memory of my uncles stove E2 is like a failure to ignite code. Basically stove didnt get up to temp quick enough and it goes into shut down mode. The blower will kick on because its part of the shut down mode to cool stove.
Igniter might be getting weak cauusing the slower start. Their not real fast to start normally anyways (I'm use to manual lighting with torch). On my uncles stove for faster lighting I always had him throw a hand full of pellets right over the igniter hole and this reduced start times drastically. This is a cheap easy fix to try.

After I clean out the burn pot I also clean out the small hole that the vacuum tube connect to the fire chamber with a Q-tip and do the same to the ignitor hole .If ash gets packed in there when cleaning it cuts the air flow around the ignitor .and the clogged vacuum hole will shut down the stove because it senses that the door is leaking. That will also cause an E-2 CODE.

Is there a sawdust clean out on that stove? Maybe a panel box that sits right next to the auger that collects saw dust. My Harman xxv has this & it was doing the same thing it would stop feeding pellets & shut down cause that compartment Was full. Just throwing ideas dont know anything about your stove.
Are you referring to the pin size hole on the ack wall inside of the fire pit? I did run a small paper clip through it.

I have the PDV & PDVC and don't use the auto starter. Get yourself some gel starter and handful of pellets and you're good to go.

If you're getting E2 as an error than most likely it is not the vacuum because that would give you E1. Are you telling me that you manually started it and it will not run or continue to feed pellets?

yes, also, reading the trouble shooting manual, it says if it shuts down, it could be a loose heat sensor. My diagram does not show this part.

Depending on how old the stove is you may have a crack in the end of your vacuum switch hose that goes into your combustion blower.

There is a tube that connects to the hole you cleaned out. Take that off and try blowing it clear or run a pipe cleaner through it.
