I'm not complaining!

Ya it was 61 here yesterday, the stove off all day till evening and it was optional then, just I didn't want to put a shirt on but continue in my T shirt.. And it's shutting down right now as I type. I think I'll just shut it off till tonight, supposed to be 59 out today. A little while ago my son showed up to borrow my utility trailer, I was outside with him talking camera gear in a T shirt on Feb 25th at 8:30 in the morning.

I recall a year where this happened similarly ( maybe not quite this warm) and on April 9th ( my birthday) we had 11" of snow ! It only lasted a few days and was gone by the weekend but the point is we had it.

Everyone here in town is fixing their lawn edges and even fixing irrigation heads; all that were sacrificed to the plow gods, definitely blizzard next week.

We had a girl who just graduated high school die in a car accident last summer, town Facebook page took 183 comments; someone bitched about their lawn torn up by the big bad plow, 710 comments

People can sputter about the trivial stuff on and on, but something devastating like a lost life can leave us speechless. That's my best case scenario about that. I won't mention the worst !

Yes. It was 80 degrees Friday. Me and 9y/o outside playing baseball and sweating and Saturday the pellet stove is running. Its crazy.

Last year an early warm spell here in N.W. Mass caused my magnolia buds to start to open. Then some very cold weather came and killed all the buds. No flowers last year. The local peach crop was also wiped out. Luckily the heat wave this year was earlier, before the susceptible trees could get fooled.

This warm weather is pretty awesome though. Easiest winter I can remember and so I'm getting ready for the as yet un-forcasted coming March super blizzard.

This is what we call Jersey weather. Snow blower one day, spring weather next week.

That's what they say about Michigan. We were approaching 60F for a couple days. Back to snowing and blowing for the weekend. I've gotten 2 feet of snow on the first day of Spring, and a few inches of new snow on Mother's day many times. After that it's usually over.

We've had a snow storm at the start of May before so all bets are off when it comes to Mother Nature ... Enjoy the warmth while you have it as we really aren't out of winter yet. Wish we were as I really enjoyed the warmth

72 degrees here outside Philly....
been 3 days or more without burning pellets...

Got a good foot of snow yesterday. They still haven't plowed my road but that's normal. Back to zero degree nights for the weekend.

We were warm here as well. Then a cold front moved in and created shear winds and tornados Tuesday night thru Wednesday morning. There was a bunch of damage and torn up stuff. Some were without electric for 38 hours. I faired well and no problems to speak of but it has been crazy all winter.

We have had warm spells followed by quick 40* temp drops or swings in short order numerous times. RCook430 is 2-2 1/2 hours SE of where I am. These storms and tornados moved NE from here into NE KY and Ohio etc;

First time the kids have been called off of school in the winter because of tornadic weather. They have only had one snow day all winter due to ice and now one day because of a tornado and many schools throughout the county not having electric. They halted all buses to hunker down in place Wed. morning. It was nasty from 1:30 AM until 4:30 AM then calm again. Then the really bad stuff came thru right when the AM buses were running.

After this warm weather spell followed by shear winds and tornados it dropped back down below freezing and into the 20's again. Weather has been like a yo-yo all winter here. I'll take the warm days but the tornados they can keep.

It was warm here too, unseasonably mild then Thursday night got real windy badly and turned cold. 9 F here now and still windy.

Dealing with the same here. We went from abnormal shorts, T-shirt, and flip flop weather one day down into the 20's less than 24 hours later.

Nice looking Aussie in your avatar pic. We have two males. A blue merle and a red merle. The Blue is a small male 42-44 pounds and the red is a hoss. He is 70 pounds and very large. Slim and fit but a big, big Aussie. He is very tall also. About the upper end of size and weight for males. Luckily he is a mellow and laid back dog. The smaller one has more energy for sure. Toby the red can be fast and crazy too but only while outside running and playing. The smaller blue Dusty is also fairly mellow for the breed now at 15 months old. They are both the same age and Toby is one month older. Both have cracked blue eyes. Great dogs!! I did nick name Dusty Jihad for awhile because he went thru a holy terror stage in his puppy season. They are now growing out of it for the most part but still have their moments like right now playing inside. They just got yelled at by the wife. LOL!

I missed my peaches and some flowers last year also. Hope for some this year (and no March blizzard)!

February this year was the Warmest Feb in phila weather history..

One day it was 61, the next day it was thunderstorming, and the 3rd day it snowed.

Of course it just has to snow and freeze on my two days off and be warm and sunny when I have to work. Every....damn.....week.

Single digit mornings here in Massachusetts the past couple days. My mom's house in a Upstate NY was a few degrees below zero. Quite a turn in the weather from last weekend when I was wearing shorts!

Of course, you could be on top of Mt. Washington, it was -24 with -69 degree windchill on Friday!
