I've recently had to upgrade my Harman P38+ circuit board to the new 3 dial control. (Feed Adjustment, Temperature, Room/ Stove temp/Off). Now I cannot get the distribution blower to come on during operation. I can get the fire started, feed auger feeding, and the combustion blower working, but the distribution blower will not turn on during operation. I know the dist blower works because when I turn the feed adjustment dial to "test" the distribution blower, combustion blower and feed motor all turn on. I thought it may be the ESP, but even when I run on room temp mode, which I do not think uses the ESP, the motor still will not come on. Any ideas?

I would definitely check/clean the ESP. I'm sure someone else will come along with a more helpful answer. I have to replace my distribution motor on my Accentra Insert when I get home tonight. I hope it goes alright. Good luck to you.

ESP is used for both modes. I would clean and test. Failing that, a new ESP.

Other stoves use a snap disc that opens to power the blower once it reaches a certain temperature. The ESP serves this function, monitors for too high a temp as well.

Keep us posted and Welcome to the Forum!

There are two ESPs and you might not have the correct one since you switched to a newer board. There is a black wired one and a red wired ESP. I think the new boards use the red wired ESP. Check to see what color your wires are on your ESP.
