i have an issue with the room air blower not working properly. top and bottom augers both work properly as does the igniter. when the stove reaches the lower running temp, the room air blower starts and stumbles a bit when it first comes on like it is not getting fed constant voltage. while the stove is at operating temp, the room air blower does not sound like it is running smooth like it does with my other identical stove. now the real problem is when i shut the stove down, the room air blower really starts stumbling and it will even run on after the stove is cold to the touch. what could be the problem?

in testing, i plugged the room air blower into the bottom auger contacts on the back of the board and the blower comes on and runs fine and smooth. does this sound like the board needs to be replaced? or just replace parts on the board. i'm very comfortable with working on electronics and soldering and just don't want to start replacing parts on something that can't be fixed lol

edit: i should also note that running the stove in diagnostic mode, everything is working as it should using this diagnostic guide http://www.heatredefined.com/support/troubleshooting-guide/diagnostic-test-mode

What setting is the blower speed set at? Although a different stove, if I set my speed below 4 it sounds similar to what you describe.

How old is the stove?

it does it at any blower setting

2012. i have an identical stove also running that does not have this issue.

i have noticed that if i run the stove for a short time, like a couple of hours, it shuts down fine and does not do it. but, if it's running for longer, like 12-24 hours, it does it. last time the blower never shut off and i had to unplug the stove to get it to stop
