Has anyone had issues with the CAT on a Lopi Cape Cod? We've had ours for a little over a year and today when I went to check the stove and set it on low for the evening discovered that the CAT was lying face down on top of the baffle...doesn't seem to want to stay in whatever is holding it? It appeared that our chimney sweep may have bumped it out of place this summer ram jamming to get the job done because when burn season began we discovered it sitting somewhat diagonally on top of the baffle, managed to press it back into its intended location (or so I thought) but today's experience tells us that fix didn't hold. It's now waaay to hot for me to try and do anything with until the fire dies out. Anything we should know, consider, check or do? How much trouble is it to remove the air pipes and baffle to really get a good look at the CAT? The dealer out here seems to run in his own time zone so we thought we'd reach out here first and possibly get some answers before we will ever hear back from him. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice.

I’m guessing that your chimney sweep removed the cat when he cleaned. Therefore you need to replace the gasket around the cat.

The tubes should come out easily with a 3/8” socket. Although one of mine snapped off so be cautious.
