Had a very productive week. Put some rough cut pine on a living room wall and started the stone work on the fireplace.

Looking terrific - also curious as to type/brand of stone product.

Thanks guys.
The stone is made by Eastwest stone.
It is natural ledgestone in Bayside Waters color.

I was a little hesitant on the color, as I wanted something a little darker and more mixed, but I found this on the Facebook market for dirt cheap, so the color was acceptable for the savings, and it is growing on me.
I got 135sf for $300.00.
Stuff is $5.00-$6.00+ a sf at the box stores, i could not pass it up.

It is real cut stone veneer ranging from about 1' to 1-1/2" thick. Much heavier than cultured stone, but installed same way.
I'm using "large stone" mortar, and it holds well.
The nice thing is, when you have to cut it, being real stone, its the same material & color all the way through. The cultured stone I installed in the addition looks great, but once you cut it or nick it, the color is gone and it is merely concrete inside.

Any stonework for me is very tedious work, but I am a perfectionist and that don't help with speed. These panels do install a but faster than irregular cultured stone, as they are all the same size and interlock.
