Early morning outside temp was -33F. Inside temp 72F. A 105F day. Forecast is for New Year weekend to possibly be even colder. Yea for winter in northern MN! Bright and sunny today - solar PV should do well. Wood stove in house is now on 24/7 duty.

We have been around -10 for the last two mornings. I think we will break zero today! The wood furnace is on 24/7 duty here too. The cold doesn't bother me, especially with a wood burner to keep the heating costs under control!

I always love these types of days, they are by far may favorite days of winter. The cold, crisp clear winter days are just the best! The stars at night are spectacular too.

We hit -10 the last two mornings. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything colder than negative mid teens around these parts. -30's is ridiculous!
