Hi all,

I have an American harvest 6039. A B C control board, no manual damper. I have searched but not found much help. problem is. I noticed yesterday that my agitator started turning continuously. we had been gone all day and the stove ran out of pellets. once started back up after the initial wait period the agitator will begging to turn continusly. I have found the troubleshooting manual. I am unable to determine what version of the board or reset it to factory defaults. I can get into the test mode and everything works as it should. does anybody have insight to what I might be missing?

First try unplugging stove for 15 minutes if that does not work.

Try both ways to reset stove.

The agitator is controlled by the heat setting and as far as I know can not be adjusted. But after the stove has run for 3 minutes the C button can make the agitator turn, push the C button just to see if it is stuck in. Also with stove off check to see if you have any burn marks on control board. Firepotpete might be able to help you more then me.

Three versions of the abc board reset by.
Factory Defaults: To return the control to is original factory default settings, Press and
hold the “B” and “C” until P1 Appears use the heat range arrow to increase to P9 and Press
the ON Button. The unit will Turn Off and the board will be reset.

The last and newest abc version resets by.
RESET TO FACTORY- HOLD THE BLOWER ARROW UP AND THE BLOWER ARROW DOWN
AT THE SAME TIME UNTIL THE UNIT TURNS OFF

I'll try the up-down. I tried b+c last night. All the buttons appear to work normally. During normal operation th c button pauses the feed anger as it should. I looked the control board over last night no burn marks everything looks fine. I expected a bad stuck on relay. I accessed the test mode by holding down a+b ran through all test and it worked as it should. I'll mess with it more tonight.

Well looks like I need a new board. After taking this apart I realized the prior owner busted the pin that hold the board together so the buttons weren't making contact. I remedied that however after reset and changing the agitator speed settings the agitator still continually spins once it's started.
