Hearthstone LP Stove... pilot won't light...

Need your help.

This is a small freestanding LP fireplace. I verified there is gas getting to the valve. If I try to light the pilot by holding in the gas knob in the pilot position.. it won't light. Not getting any gas. Should be pretty straightforward right? Turn the gas on at the valve. Turn the control knob to pilot and depress fully and hold. Click the Peizo ignitor... once it lights hold the control knob in until the thermocouple heats up. Release and turn to on.

I can't get any gas in the pilot position.

Anyone have any trouble shooting tips?

Figured it out... uhh.. not really, but it's working. After messing with it most of the day... I tried one more time... pushing in the pilot control button extra hard and Voila! the pilot lit! and is staying lit!
