Am I missing a piece of exhaust pipe?

Hey there,
Just about have my P43 hooked up but the pipe attached to the stove (left in pic) and the pipe coming through the wall look to be the same size so I cant get them to connect. Am I missing a piece here? Could someone provide a link on lowes to what I need?

Thanks for the help. Driving me nuts I am so close to having this installed.

It looks to me that those are two different pipes and that is why they will not connect, you will need an "Appliance Adapter" from Lowes that goes on to the stove. Take that pipe that is on the stove now off and don't use it.

The piece attached to the stove is glued on i will never get it off
 
your going to have to get that piece off or buy a new tail pipe for the stove.
 
It will come off. Looks like what you have on the tail pipe of the stove is a appliance adapter for a insert that hooks to flex pipe. If you cant wiggle it off, Take snips and cut it off.

I'd be surprised if it is glue; more likely, it is high temp silicone.

I had the same problem with a used Accentra. It will come off if you work at it. I found that a good pair of work gloves and twisting it like you are trying to thread it on or off works best. If not, try a oil filter wrench.
 
do you have a small soldering butane torch? heat that piece up and the silicone will soften so it will twist off or you can cut it with a smallcutoff saw or hammer and chisel. Or maybe get the same brand of stove pipe as the starter pipe providing you could return the other pipe.
Maybe you got confused and got the exh pipe turned around?
 
Got everything hooked up and enjoying the first fire now. Ended up just removing the existing piping that came through the wall and put in the piping that came with the stove. Was trying to avoid messing w the pipe through the wall but turned out to be pretty easy. Thanks for the help
