I doubt it, personal opinion only. Stihl keeps there stuff pretty non-generic.
 
I did do some searching before posting - found conflicting info.

Some were all 'no way' - but then others came in with 'sure will'. Not sure how the feedback could be so varying on what seems to me to be something simple.
 
Ya, found out today (took me this long to try it) that the answer is no. Altho it looks like they would. I tried it with a hedge trimmer. The attachment won't go in far enough to hook up. Not sure about the spline comment tho - the Stihl drive end looked square to me. Would really like that swivel hedge trimmer but the price is kinda out there for maybe an hour use per year.
