I read in a thread quite some time ago about a source of tarps in a size perfect for long stacks of wood - I bought 5 or 6. The tarps are ~30" in width and 18' or 20' in length. I now cannot recall the source of these tarps. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try this link to Northern Tool wood pile tarps. This is the shortest. Three different lengths. As they get longer they get a little wider. This is the only source I have found for these specialty wood stack tarps. Have been using them for years. They are inexpensive and last a few years or more. Be mindful the actual finished size is slightly smaller than the listed dimensions.

I go to the local RV dealer and get old awnings. They are perfect, thick and heavy and....free. They throw them away anyway. They take a beating from wind and weather and don't leave a stringy mess like torn tarps.

Check out your local lumber supplier or truss manufacturer. They often have lumber wraps that are free. Truss guys that make or supply glulam beams are a good source of 4' x 30 to 60' beam wraps.
