Cant get my new stove to get hot enough please help.

I have 2 of the same thermometers on mine, it's single wall pipe though. I've never bought firewood from a dealer before but I'd be very angry if I got 30+% moisture content advertised as seasoned wood. Because it's not. Semper Fi

Technically they are not lying, they are advertising seasoned wood, not less than 20% moisture wood. So if they cut the wood 3 months ago, its been a season and the wood is now seasoned. Being seasoned does not mean that the wood is ready to burn.

Well yeah. They could also just put some salt and pepper on the wood and call it "seasoned". The lack of clear definition of what seasoned means is part of the problem. It is best to be direct with the seller and get a clear explanation of when the wood was split, was it stacked, what species wood and a clear agreement on what a cord of wood actually is (hint, it's not two pickup truck loads, not a rick or face cord.)

They may have cut the trees down a year ago and left them in logs until last week too, claiming the wood has been cut and drying for a year.
