I have a Breckwell insert. The error code is flashing #2. I've determined its a faulty Air switch. I bypassed the switch by running a jumper from the gray lead wires. Stove ran great. Put a new switch in and same problem. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

If you're getting a flashing two, its vacuum, so check the exh path, make sure its clear and open the air damper a bit more. I've seen some breckwells that the air damper needs to be open a certain amount. Are you sure the exh blower is nice and clean too? Does the flame look normal?? Also, is the vac hose clear?
The vac hose is clear. I removed the exh fan and cleaned it. I'll run it with the jumper to check the flame,. The damper is open. Could it be open too much?
Hello, glad you found your issue. Forgot to realize if its a breckwell insert that the exh comes off very low and is normally a 90 deg elbow there, not a tee. This leads to this elbow getting filled more quickly than if a cleanout tee was attached. Glad you cleaned your chimney, the vac sw was doing exactly what its supposed to do, alerting you of the chimney obstruction. Good luck with her, Breckwells are good reliable heaters. If the vac sw is too far open, you get a short active flame, it can blow pellets out of the burnpot before they are completely burned. Normally, BW dampers are open about 1/3 for a good flame appearance.
