How is the comfortbilt doing? I just ordered the HP22 as well. Nice looking stove!!

Working great. No problems or issues.

One thing I did notice when I was going to do a complete clean out was the two small panels u have to remove have gaskets that are stuck on and will need to be replaced cuz u can't open it without destroying the gasket.

So I didn't do the complete clean out. I'll need to order some of those gaskets first. I'll check their website today and see what the cost is for the gaskets.

It really puts out a lot of heat. I've only used it in the "manual" mode and the couple days the temps got down in the teens I ran the stove on setting number 3. Temps in the 40s the lowest setting 1 is fine and 30s 2 seems sufficient.

I do keep the house on the warm side, 76-78

Ok I just looked at the manual and it states that for the monthly maintenance you should cut a hole in the gasket so u can reuse it.

It's a small panel/opening and the factory gasket covers the opening instead of just edge. U use a small tube attachment to vac it out. My shop vac came with several attachments for this purpose.

That display is nearly identical to my Castle Serenity's display.

I have an 800W Inverter that I use for the tv/computer whenever we have a power outage. Doesn't happen often, but when a big storm moves in we once in awhile lose power.

Usually last anywhere from minutes to a couple hours. So I thought I'd see if the 800 watts is enough to run the stove. And much to my surprise it did just fine.

Fired it up and ran it for an hour or so on the inverter. Put my hand on the inverter to see if it was get'n warm/hot, and it was cold/cool to the touch.

I'm still going to get a more powerful one and keep this one for its original purpose. Probably get a 1200W one for the stove since I do need another one anyway. You never know how long the power could be out and I only tested it for an hour. So 6 - 8 hours who knows the 800W one might not be able to handle it for that long, and if the power still didn't restore I'd have to switch to the backup battery for another 6 - 8 hours.

I am surprised as well. I tried to ignite my Serenity using my truck and a 1000 watt inverter but it would not work. It overloads the inverter.

So in manual on 2 or 3 does it kick down to 1 setting after room temperature is meant? On auto mode does the stove shut down completely when room temperature is meant, then when heat is called for it automatically lights the pellets?

I've only used manual mode so whatever number its on its stays on.

I finally got my HP22 hooked up about a month ago and I did have to call Comfortbilt to help adjust settings as it would run but the flame looked funny. Took about 10 minutes and this thing is cranking out the heat. It was -3F here last night in a 3200 square foot house I never got below 70F on setting 2. Biggest complaint is the hopper is small so I ordered the hopper extension and that cured it. Thanks for the info. Loving the stove so far!!!
