Purchased a quadrafire classic bay 1200 one week ago. Ran awesome for 3 days and now it will not light. Pellets seem to be dropping at a slow speed. The igniter is glowing red but the pellets are not igniting. Currently the stove has been on for an hour with the fan on, minimal pellets in the fire pot and still nothing. All advice would be greatly appreciated!

Try pushing the reset button once and see if it lights. You might need to scrape the pot particularly the bottom front where the igniter is. They occasionally miss fire from ash in the bottom. The stoves start up runs for 12 minutes if it doesn't get a response from the thermocouple it will stop feeding pellets.

Use a flashlight and mirror to look at igniter slit in bottom of pot, to make sure it is clear of an clinker debris, as ssyko mentioned above. Also use same to look up drop chute to see if there is any bridging going on from too long of pellets blocking drop chute opening. Also make sure the fuel adjusting rod hasn't come loose and closed all the way. kap

Beat me kap- prob fuel rod has closed up. You mentioned ignitor glowing- is burnpot closed up properly on bottom too? How about sawdust buildup in hopper?
