Taken down a year ago monster 54 inch diameter red oak,will have to get a bobcat to move rounds to splitter,carpenter ants weakened it,about 80 feet tall.

That is just beautiful, with it so cold out you might be able to quarter those rounds by hand fairly easily, looks like straight grain stuff

54" is big. I've worked with almost 40", but I'd need either a new or rented saw to carve that one. Even a 24" bar won't get this one done.
Also heavy. I don't know how one would even move the rounds to be split without equipment. 36" oak puts me to the test.
But once it's done, tons of wood! Good luck, it'd be great to hear how many cords you get out of it.
