Hi, I've never owned or operated a pellet stove, grew up on wood. Well my wife and I just bought one from a friend that he said the blower stopped working one day. The igniters havent worked in a while, which I'm not super concerned about. My father in law is like MacGyver and if I can't fix somthing he usually can. I'm kind of stumped on this. He thinks i need to replace the blower motor but i don't want to put all that money out if its not the problem. I thought it was the thermocouple. I tried putting the candle to the wire and still nothing happened. We pulled the blower motor and tried to run jump wires to it and nothing happened either, but I'm not too sure what wires to jump or if thatll even work. Buddy said it ran fine one day, went to run it again and the blower wouldnt kick on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The propane and electric are killing me right now. I completely trust my wifes dad, he has two pellet stoves that he's fixed many times but even he isnt positive that its the blower motor. Thank you! Oh plus i found an unhooked grey wire that housed a tiny red wire and black wire inside, they are small like thermostat wires but don't seem to hook to a thermostat anywhere I can find. I've thouroughly went through the service and owners manuals as well with no luck. Plus the thermocouple wire is taped in place so it hasnt jiggled free.

Pull the blower motor out
jump the 2 wires to know good 120 outlet
Use an old lamp cord to jump the fan
If it runs there is something else wrong
If it does not run replace it

Hi guys original poster here! I pulled the fan motor and tried to jump it with an old plug in. There are 4 wires that come off the motor. The ground, 2 that come from the connection to the capacitor and a black Im guessing hot wire. not sure which ones need to be hooked into the jump wires for it to run but I tried all combos I could think of and got nothing. I appreciate the replys a lot..... Im lost and I cant seem to find this motor on line, its a german einschraubtiefe motor 5mm max it says on it

Thanks guys, you all are awesome! I found the motor that you posted then kept looking and found a cheaper place in MN that looked identical and had identical numbers as the one I have. The one at motion surplus looked a little bit different.

Got on this a little late but I never seen this motor fail unless the bearings needed replacing.
Lets start over so you plug it in and nothing happens no lights come one? push start now what happens OK check fuses to make sure you have power to the control board. that grey wire with small connection is the one that has a small magnet on the end that measures rpm of exh motor.
you need a dealers manual which I can send a link to.
When you plug it in and push start you should hear the exh fan come on and the convection fan come on followed by the slicer and bottom of the pot moving back and forth. then you should see fuel drop into pot. After that you will hear the air pump kick in blowing air into igniters and after that you should see smoke from burning fuel. Now the lights for 8 heat settings will blink in different configurations telling you something is wrong
The Bixby is more complicated but not real bad . Send me your e-mail address and I will send a link for the dealers manual so you can understand what this stove is about and how to maintain it.
