Finally found something I searched for in the basement after you mentioned that you previously lived right by Mowhawk Mountain ski area in CT. I was in the basement putting together a few boxes of books to donate to a library book sale, and I found my box of patches, buttons, stickers and so on from when I was a kid.

Here's a Mowhawk Mountain patch ca. 1970. Also Wildcat Mountain (NH) from probably around 1974.

I like that site. I have it bookmarked and posted it on here a couple of months ago. Sad seeing all the places gone, including some big ones from the 1960s and 1970s like Brodie in western MA.
 
I skied Mohawk quite a bit in the 70s and 80s. The character sure changed after that tornado removed all those trees.

Brodie was a fun place. I miss Maple Valley in VT too.

In spite of living a mile away, I only skied once at Mohawk. Went to the top and came down, with no instruction (yes I was a crazy kid). Took out a ski instructor (she should have known better) and broke up the ski lift line at the bottom, but I made it. ;em

Good fun ski racing on Tuesday nights in the industrial league. I know I'm getting old because the thought of working all day, driving 50 minutes, racing, free skiing, and then driving home doesn't sound overly appealing. The stove calls...
