Talked to one of the guys over the phone via number provided on their website. Claimed they exceed current epa emissions and can burn Pellets, grain, coal, other biomass that can auger upto 1.5 inches. Also has the capability to burn cord wood in the same firebox without any changes.

Pellet duo has an advertised 92% overall efficiency, and the eko duo coal/pellet burner is slightly lower at 90%.

The guy mentioned no problem with house insurance (which I'd double check before purchasing).

Anyone know or have experience with this brand? Couldn't find any reviews online. Their was an old post back in 2017 but nothing helpful.

Those efficiency numbers are unrealistic, would make me skeptical about the rest of it.
Yeah, kinda what I thought too...I'd hafta see some independent test documentation...seems like we would have heard a lot more about these boys if all this were true...

Doesn't count in N.A. if they don't do the testing no EPA listing. Also ask them about the CSA/UL certification, without it you can't get house insurance. Buyer beware.

Yup that's the only thing my insurance guy said when I was planning my switch - make sure there's a CSA sticker on the boiler and you're fine.
