Hi everyone , I just had a tri axle load of logs delivered and I was wondering an estimate of how many cords I have. I paid 675, and I think it was a good deal considering the load is mostly hickory, with some ash and maybe a little sugar maple, with one red oak log. Hoping I end up with close to 7 cords css. What do you guys think?

I got a 6 cord log load ( that is different than a css cord) for about the same price last fall looks to be the same size truck . Logs I got are quite a bit larger diameter wise-- haven't processed it yet so I am not going to guess on the css amount.

Ahhh, I figured a cord of log length wood would end up being roughly one cord of cut split and stacked. Yeah these logs aren’t huge, which will make it nice for processing and they are mostly straight. I thought he did a good job loading the truck.

If you get 6-7 cord that is a very good deal!

Looks like 6-7 cords to me. Looks like great stuff. Split red oak real small. Like wrist size. It takes forever to season. Nice load!
