The good : I got a nice jag of Honey Locust split up

The bad: I have more to do & it’s supposed to start snowing again tomorrow & warm up & rain this weekend so it will be a swamp around what’s left.

The ugly: I slipped & put a hurtin’ on my X-27

I have to use a laptop or a computer with a monitor, I can’t see the entire claim form on my phone. I tried to fill it out as soon as I got to the house.

It’s a possibility, I thought I would slap some JB Weld on it & see if it lasted more than one swing, doubtful but I’ll give it a whirl. Kindling splitter is probably the best option.
 
Probably the least thing that could go wrong, out in the woods cutting firewood.

More good, got another load split & hauled out before the snow starts tonight, I am thinking that there are at least 2 more loads like this one left.

They are all but home, just over the hill about 1/4 mile from the house. I don’t have a winch, skid steer or tractor & loader so I will just get what I can before the rain sets in, as long as I get them out by the time to plant beans. Both of my trailers are full of scraps, uglies & punky wood that need to go to the burn pile but the weather has not been cooperative this last fall/winter & my free time has not coincided with favorable conditions to gain access the burn pile. Plus as the snow melts & it starts raining my wood storage area will not be in good shape either. I need to get more pallets put down but that will have to wait for the snow to melt off & the frost to go out so so can drive some posts.

Got 1 more out this afternoon after working some cattle this morning. This will be the last one till it freezes up again, looks to be a couple nights in the teens coming up next week.

In the low 40’s this afternoon so melting snow is really making things sloppy & hard to get around.
