I dug this up on our property while planting our Christmas tree. It was buried about 10-in. deep in a wooded area.
Anyone know what it is? The longest dimension is about 6-in. It looks to be cast iron with a casting flash down one side. I've got a suspicion but don't want to bias the responses.
