being that i have to keep my isle royale 13" from combustible my black stove pipe doesnt line up with my chimney support. i need to bring the stove pipe back only 3 to 3 1/2 inches to line up with the chimney support. Any suggestions?? thank you

Can you install a heat shield on the wall (I assume that is the combustible in question) so the stove can sit directly under the stovepipe?

Or, there are pieces of single-wall that are flexible; two of them could give you a coupla inches... I have seen them at Tractor Supply.

Space is of the utmost importance, so I really don't want to move the stove further into the room. Even with a heat shield I only drop 1 inch closer from 13" down to 12" that was told to me from quadrafire tech. Can I come with a piece of flex pipe right out of the stove into double insulated up to the chimney support?? Single wall flex what are the clearance to combustible ?

With the 45's your offset should be in the 5" range (center to center) so that should be pretty close. I think if you used the flex liner you would need to adhere to the same 18" clearance. Would be expensive and IMO kind of ugly though.

When I said 3 inches it wasn't center to center it was the back of the stove outlet to the back of the chimney support

I am not sure I fully understand the issue. Is this with single wall or double wall connector? Can you be more specific or include some pictures or a diagram of the issue?

Note that the Isle Royale is a seriously radiant stove. This is not a small area stove. It's going to need good clearances. If moving it a trivial 3" further into the room is required than do it.

My stove pipe is double wall, according to quadrafire isle royale has to be 13 inches from combustible. That brings the stove a couple inches infront of the chimney support I can't just go straight up from the stove into the support I have to go out of the stove and bring the stove pipe 3 inches behind the stove to be ale to tap into the chimney support. I hope I explained it better.

i have metalbestos double wall black stove pipe, can i take other brands and mix and match stove pipe im thinking they will all slide together????? thanks

Probably not, but you could take piece to a dealer & ask them to try.
Did you check the Metalbestos DW offset charts?
