Likes: Seems to be very efficient. Burns evenly. Lights easily. Air-wash system keeps glass clean. Heat shields are very effective-minimal clearance needed. Compact design. Side loading.

Dislikes: Doors do not have handles, must insert universal handle into a knob to operate the latch.

Comments: We wanted a small stove for heating our house in spring and fall and to serve as a back-up heat source for our oil stove in the winter. The layout of our house required a small stove with minimal clearance requirements. We thought we might have to really compromise our goals with such a small stove but this tiny stove puts out a suprising amount of heat. We're thrilled by its performance and found it to be the perfect choice for our house. This beautiful, compact, efficient, no-nonsense stove really does a great job keeping our Alaskan log home warm and cozy.

Note: We also have an Efel oil stove (almost identical in appearance) that has served us very well. A very good choice for homes not connected to the "grid".
