Bought in 2001 , Price Paid: 2300
Location : Harrisburg, PA 17101, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Old Fashion Heat

Likes: Good heat output. Easy to light. I love the ash tray! The optional blower helps to distribute heat through the basement.

Dislikes: Really goofy ceramic handles that you have to insert before you can open the doors. The fire box is narrower at the back than at the front, making the back 1/4 of the stove unusable for standard length logs. Top loading is over-rated. I always use the front doors.

Comments: Actually purchased in year 2003 but web form stops at 2001. Purchase price included installation, removal of an old, VERY heavy Shrader stove from basement. Also includes the outside air kit (has really helped reduce drafts in the house) and the optional blower kit.

I heat 3000 sf over 3 floors. Basement is finished but open. The central stair wells are surprisingly efficient at allowing heat to migrate to the upper floors.
