Likes: Easy single lever adjustment. Starts fast and easy, even cold. Great look with gold door. Length wise loading. Dependable with little maintenance with the new SS baffle.

Dislikes: Nothing from the stove. The PE blower fan does not last. #1 was replaced under warranty right at the 1 year mark. #2 died at 1.25 years. Turned out to be a switch that was easily bypassed, but did required a days worth of work to remove and fix.

Comments: Great stove. My second PE. My first was an insert that performed flawlessly for 4 years. This stove is a free standing model (traditional black with gold starburst door)installed just inside an existing fireplace. Everyone comments on the look. With the blower fan, I can easily heat my whole house. This is my primary heat source and I love it. Overnight burn (11-6)is not a problem. Ash cleanout 1 time per week. Window is almost always clean. Length wise loading is extremely convient since logs can not roll out. With 6" SS liner, the draft is strong. Overall, a great stove that I would recommend to anybody.
