Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 400 | House Size (Sq feet): 1100
Bought in 2004 , Price Paid: 1800
Location : Vancouver, BC , Canada
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Kirkland Metal

Likes: Dealer was honest, fast and gave me a quote that they honoured. Insert works well and throws alot of heat using simple spruce/hemlock/fir end cuts from housing (usually goes in the garbage). Glass stays clean.

Dislikes: Terrible Regency Onwers Manual. Confusing instructions, all models listed instead of just one (mine). Does not explain role of the need for fresh-air intake to make up for air used in combustion. Lifetime warranty only valid if authorized installer installs unit. Fan is an option (should be standard). Does not

Comments: Only three dealers/installers in the area. One gave a quote over the phone, another was not giving quotes for another two months, happended to get lucky with Kirkland.

Regency needs to work on customer service.
