Likes: Unit is used to supplement our forced air furnace during the weekends. We leave the furnace at 40 Degrees F to keep the pipes from freezing. On the weekends, we start a fire on Friday and keep it going through the entire weekend without the need to have the furnace turn on. Doing this burned less that a face cord ($40 US) of wood from October to March.

Air intake works great. Can turn the fire down within 30 seconds and then back on.

Little creosote buildup on a double 45 Degree elbow.

Little ash buildup. Only need to clean ash less than once per weekend. Also has a very large ash pan.

After burner system works really nice to burn the extra gasses.

1 burn cycle is around 8 hours from iginition to coals

Drolet and Northern both helped with replacement of the broken bricks during shipping.

Dislikes: Bricks were broken during shipping. Should have been individually wrapped prior to shipping.

Comments: Recommend this unit. Cost is nearly a quarter of the price of other units with the same features.
