Likes: Excellent stove overall. Door glass stays exceptionally clean. Very reliable; no problems to date. Consistently thorough burns. Easy to start the next morning. Attractive. First chimney clean done after second year (did it myself), and there was nothing by a bit of light brown powder in the chimney.

Dislikes: Firebox is on the small side. Max burn time is only about 5 hours, although I haven't tried unsplit logs (as the manual suggests) for overnight burns.

Comments: I will definitely purchase my next stove (hopefully not for a long time!) from Pacific Energy. I called a couple of times with questions and they were extremely helpful. Deaer was nice enough, and reasonably priced, but the dealer's installers were incompetent, mixing two different chimney manufacturers chimney components (an absolute no-no!), so I undid their work and finished the installation myself to get it right. Stovepipe thermometer (e.g., from Condor) is a VERY useful accessory for monitoring best range and fuel load burn temperature (for any stove).
