Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 880 | House Size (Sq feet): 2000
Bought in 1998 , Price Paid: 1399
Location : Titusville, NJ 8560, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Wood Heat, Quakertown PA

Likes: Well constructed; easy to load; consistent heat, easy to maintain and replace parts; no smoking or back-puffing problems

Dislikes: Ash container fills quickly; difficult to clean and replace ash container, because ash falls behind tray; door hinge pins loosen; stove legs too short;catalyst does not work properly with low burns

Comments: This is our second wood burner. Our first was a Reginald 102 which performed very well for 17 years. We have been using wood heat as a supplement for more than 28 years. We hope the catalyst in the Jotul has been upgraded in later models. The local dealer is (or was) of little help.
