Likes: Stove is built well and designed to look nice and achive my heating goals. Side door is great since logs roll out of the front door to ofton. stove heats whole house well, love the stove and it seems to be build well as it should be it reatails for two thousand dollars now a days.

Dislikes: Damper has only two setings + or - . I think it should have more even though the stove does burn well when hot, its just had to start a fire I have to keep the door open and continue to blow on it. Damper handle gets real hot so to the wood handles I have to use a welding glove or it's to easy to get burned. Logs and embers roll out the front door, needs some pegs to prevent this.

Comments: over all very happy with the stove, glad I went with the f-500 instead of a smaller model, I don't think I would have been able to get the heat output with one. Jotul makes a good stove, fire box is big 22" . I hope the stove lasts me 20 years, it seems to be built solid.
