Big insert and still fits nicely in my Heatilator E-39 zero clearance fireplace. Holds lots of wood, overnight burns no problem, lots of heat! Flu collar connection can be made from inside firebox and is a big plus for tight situations. Nice heavy duty variable speed blower. Good solid construction of unit.
Lacking in style/appearance. Kind of drab looking. Not a very large dealer network (at least in my area). Never did see a unit before purchasing.
I live in michigan, ended up buying from a dealer in Canada an hour away (was the closest dealer). The next closest dealer gave me bad vibes and not very informative.
Saved money with the Canadian exchange rate and did not have to pay Canadian taxes. Dealer was friendly, sales person was informative and offered helpful suggestions, followed thru with every promise/commitment.
Insert functions well, secondary burns are easy to achieve. Holds lots of wood. Trim panels were allot of $$ so I made my own. Controls are easy to use. Nice large viewing glass on door. Highly recommend, and would by again from manufacturer and dealer.
The unit fits nicely inside my Heatilator E-39 Zero Clearance fireplace. It was the only one I found that would line up with the location of the fireplace's chimney. The liner fit straight in. Installation was very easy. I was surprised at how easy it fit with this large of an insert.
