Likes: The air supplied to the flames is ample and well placed, giving a lively and smoke free burn. The window stays pretty clean and the optional fan is whisper quiet. This stove is built with care in Vermont, and it\'s not too big for our family room.

Dislikes: Soapstone absorbs moisture while it\'s not in use over the summer so they tell you to make two small fires to dry it out before you build a hot fire.

Comments: This our third stove since 1980. We had a small cast iron stove which cracked, and then a big steel stove. Both of them were of the \"air tight\" design which did not worry about pollution or clean chimneys. This new stove breathes freely and burns very cleanly. We have a two story chimney with a stainless liner, and we\'ve had no back puffing at all.
