Likes: Excellent Unit, works great, looks great, EZ to Maintain. Installed an extra return and thermostat to circulate heat around the house when room get warm enough. Primary heat only kicks in as back up if I forget to stoke.

Dislikes: Salesman was exceptional and very knowledgeable. Store supplied installer was clueless. Store owner eventaully agreed to not bill me for installation because I had to hire an independent to do the job correctly.

Comments: Installer from store was supposed to run a full 25\' liner and install an outlet in the fireplace to plug unit in. He showed up without a ladder and brought a helper who could not walk much less work. He immediately declared that he could not fit the 8\" liner through my flue so would only run an adapter and short pipe. Then said he could not install the outlet. After installing, I could not get enough draw to keep it lit with the damper half way out. I inspected and found that the adapter was actually a 5\' section of 8\" liner (he just didn\'t want to run the full 25\'). The manual indicated that he should have installed a 24 gage steel blocking plate if he used an adapter/short pipe. He didn\'t use any blocking plate. I complained so he came back to install the plate. This greatly improved the draw, but I found he used aluminum falshing instead of steel. Fire Inspector said it violated the manufacturers recomendation and could cause a problem in the event of a chimney fire. After several phone calls to the store owner, they agreed not to bill me for the instalation, and I used the money to hire another firm to do it correctly.
